Leadership/Supervisory Role
The critical role of the Data Analyst is collecting, collating, analyzing, and interpreting data related to the company’s performance. It involves working with other team members whose primary role is to capture data leading the sales operations within the business. The successful candidate must also be prepared to create models that describe past performance, current trends, and future projections. Overall, this position holds a great degree of responsibility and demands a high level of confidentiality and maturity with company’s sensitive information.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
• Collecting, interpreting, and analyzing data.
• Reporting the results to the relevant members of the organization.
• Finding trends and patterns in the information.
• Working with colleagues to establish the requirements of the business.
• Creating a more efficient data collection and analysis process.
• Producing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Creating data graphs, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Conducting surveys and analyzing their results.
• Perform extensive data validation/quality assurance analysis within large datasets
• Build proactive data validation automation to catch data integrity issues
• Ability to organize and lead meetings with business and operational data owners
• Coordinate and communicate between business users and the data warehouse organization, balancing requirements and resources to solve business problems
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues
• Ability to build tabular and/or visualization reports as needed
• Work independently and with team members to understand database structure and business processes
• Help form data management and governance processes within the data engineering team
• Perform analytics and maintenance large database across different industries;
• Carry out issue identification and analysis techniques, such as pattern analysis and root cause analysis, to help identify issues and propose solutions;
• Work close to stakeholders gathering requirements, performing analysis and delivering complex analysis to supply data driven insight to support strategic business decision-making;
• Plan, design and develop dashboards, ongoing reporting and segmentation strategies;
• Design, implement and improve KPI & SLA reports.
• Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
• Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
• Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
• Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
• Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
• Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
• Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

Employment Criteria and Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year in the insurance or telecommunication industry.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science, or related field.
• Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
• Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
• High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
• Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
• Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills.
